You can install Z and I Emulator for Web on many server platforms, accommodating various-size organizations and branch offices.Īs software updates occur, the latest version of HCL Z and I Emulator for Web is downloaded each time a user accesses the software, helping eliminate the need to install code on client workstations. Users can connect directly to a host system, such as IBM iSeries or eServer i systems, without the need for extra hardware and software between the client and the Telnet server. Using Z and I Emulator for Web eliminates the need to deploy the software to individual user desktops. The host configuration information can be provided to the applet from an HTML file or by using the Z and I Emulator for Web configuration server. With Z and I Emulator for Web, the client applet contains the emulation functionality.
